Research and development and recommendation of pavement small joint filling maintenance machinery
The small-scale pavement joint filling is an important work often carried out by the highway maintenance department. Its construction process is few, the operation time is short, and it is easy to be despised. In order to ensure the standard and reliable quality of pavement joint grouting, the factors influencing the construction must be analyzed
1. Qualitative inspection of pavement crack disease.
For small-scale joint grouting, timely identification of various cracks in the maintenance section is the premise to ensure the quality of joint filling. If possible, pavement detection vehicle should be adopted. Advanced image acquisition technology can easily detect the size and location of the whole pavement crack disease, and show the workload of joint grouting.
However, due to the high cost of inspection vehicles, the general maintenance department can only use manual inspection of pavement conditions, which requires accurate grasp of the nature of cracks, detailed registration of the number of cracks, and make full preparation.
2. The environment of joint grouting construction is bad.
Small crack filling and crack repair are temporary maintenance operations, which generally can not interrupt the traffic, and the operation vehicles have a great impact on the safety of construction operation; some road sections have large traffic volume, and when construction cannot be carried out during the day, only night operation is required, which will affect the construction quality.
3. The climatic conditions of construction are restricted.
The construction cannot be carried out when the pavement is wet, and the joint filling material is particularly sensitive to moisture. Moisture will not only affect the bonding performance of the joint filling material, but also cause the joint filling material to solidify too fast to achieve the best joint filling effect. The joint filling material is required to have a fast setting time and be able to open the traffic as soon as possible.
At present, the ordinary highways in Guangdong Province, including some highway maintenance departments, still use hand-held joint filling machines or water bottles when dealing with pavement cracks.
The main shortcomings of the traditional pavement crack repair technology are as follows:
1. Manual joint cleaning is not clean.
There are a lot of dust and sand in the joint, which affect the bonding of joint filling materials.
2. The melting material is not scientific.
A simple melting kettle without heat preservation, temperature control and mixing device will cause coking and over fire of the joint filling material, which will damage the performance of the joint filling material.
3. It is not easy to control the discharge of free pouring joint.
Waste of joint filling materials, workers bend over to work, labor intensity, unsightly lines and even pollute the road surface, hot-melt gas makes workers injured.
